Dad First Coach - Be your child's first Coach!
Get involved by teaching your child the basic rugby skills.
So what do you do? You don't have to be an expert to get in the backyard or off to the park to pass, catch and kick a ball around - although you do need a rugby ball! You just need a little bit of time, some enthusiasim and some simple teaching techniques.

The website is www.coachingtoolbox.co.nz, and it contains a wide range of coaching resources including rugby skills and drills relevant to all levels of the game. It also features bonus material including kicking demonstrations by New Zealand Rugby Union (NZRU) specialist skills coach Mick Byrne and advice about scrum techniques from NZRU specialist scrum coach Mike Cron.
