Chiefs play Reds at home this Friday
04 March 2010
The Chiefs play their first home game of the season this Friday night when they take on the Reds in round four of the Rebel Sport Super 14 at Waikato Stadium in Hamilton.
As planned, Chiefs fullback and captain Mils Muliaina returns to the side, with winger Sitiveni Sivivatu retuning to the left wing having recovered from his shoulder injury sustained two weeks ago.
Chiefs coach Ian Foster said: "we're excited about our first home game of the campaign."
"There were some hard decisions to make on selection due to the form of the squad on the road. But we've decided to re-introduce Mils and Sitiveni to get them back involved as soon as possible," said Foster.
The Chiefs forward pack remains unchanged from last week. The Chiefs enjoyed a successful overseas tour in the first three rounds with 14 points accumulated. They are currently sitting second equal on the standings table.
