Roscommon Primary School win 15 Aside Tournament

Roscommon Primary School won the inaugural Manurewa Primary Schools Year 5 and 6 15 aside tournament at Bruce Pulman Park on July 26 when they beat Randwick Park 12-10 in the final.
Randwick Park were undefeated through the round robin games and had beaten Roscommon 10-7 when the teams had met previously in the first round.
The event was attended by Randwick Park, Roscommon, Manurewa West, Finlayson, Clendon Park and Takanini primary schools.
DJ Lenny pumped out the sounds as the Rugby Development Officers commentated on the skills and the big tackles that were being played by the six schools were trying to win the trophy that was on display in the highly competitive day.
The day displayed some fantastic rugby with great attitudes from the players, coaches and supporters who are already looking forward to the next tournament.
