In the big match of the week between Wesley College 2nd XV and St Peters, the weather played a real part in the result. St Peters won the match 8 - 5 in the end and were made to earn every one of the 8 points they got. St Peters generated a lot of good go forward ball by way of big #3 Patrick Lui, formally of Rosehill College. The young Wesley boys did not shy away and they didn't let the favoured St Peters side dominate. They countered every move St Peters made and went close to scoring themselves on many occasions. Wesley 2nd XV take on Rosehill College in a local derby fixture at Rosehill this weekend

Pukekohe High stormed their way to the Bowl finals of the Chiefs 1st XV Competition.
Big Tyrin Poutai, Adam Brash and lock 'Tonga' led the way with their big carries and physical presence. Puke High ran out winners taking the result 41 - 15 over Hauraki Plains College. They take on Te Awamutu down there this week. The venue is still to be confirmed.
