CMRFU is hosting the FAIR – First Aid In Rugby Course on Tuesday 16 March and Wednesday 17 March, 5:00pm-9:00pm. This is an eight (8) hour course, you must attend both evenings.
This course is an exciting commitment by both NZRU and ACC to providing quality immediate care within the community for injured players and supporters.
This course is designed for all levels of people within community rugby – from club volunteers, administration people, medical professionals, team support staff including physiotherapists, massage therapists, coaches, managers, and club supporters.
The course is an 8 hour ‘hands-on’ participation course run by World Rugby trained and accredited educators, whom themselves are experienced qualified practitioners who have worked in rugby for many years. Because it is a practical course there is on-line pre-reading that is a requirement for all participants and therefore early identification and registration of people will allow them to get the most out of the day. It is also imperative that all participants turn up on time as we are not able to wait due to the amount of content to be delivered. These above two points are our single most ‘bug-bears’ and your assistance with these would be greatly appreciated.
There is a maximum of 12 attendees at the course, please get in quick to register. The course costs $50 per person and covers catering and a first aid kit.
How to register: - https://www.rugbysmart.co.nz/fair/
