Message from Annette Tossell:

What a fantastic club sevens tournament held, a massive effort from everyone.  There were some exciting close results which contributed to some teams power up the points table, quarters and semi-finals.

On behalf of CMRFU I wish to extend my sincere thanks and appreciation to everyone that helped out at our SPEIGHTS Club Sevens on Saturday 5 November 2016.  It was a fantastic day with excellent games held.

Special thanks to the referees who did an outstanding job refereeing, also thanks to the clubs, coaches, players and supporters who contributed to a top day.  Thanks so much Danny Brown for organizing so many referee’s, a fantastic turn out.

Sincere thanks and appreciation to our Club Sevens sponsor SPEIGHTS who came on board again to sponsor the tournament with excellent prizes.  Thank you Jeremy Evans from Lion!  Special thanks to JB from Drury Meats for his kind sponsorship contribution.  Thanks to Phil Kingsley Jones for organizing the sponsorship. 

I also would like to acknowledge and thank the CMRFU Team - Andrew, Dameon, Jeremy, Antony, Sarah, Grant, Todd, Nick and Richard Spranger for their individual contributions to a successful Club 7s day.

To Tracey Worthington, Neville McNabb and his team at Karaka Rugby Club you were all outstanding!  I can’t thank you enough for an awesome location, help on the day, field set up/pack down and the use of all your facilities.
