The Counties Sports Hub Shield goes on the line when Manurewa hosts Pukekohe in a crucial Coleman Shield clash and the Counties Energy Game of the Week on Saturday.

The two local sides meet from 1pm at Mountfort Park in a battle between two sides currently holding down semi-final places.

It will be the first time Manurewa has defended the Counties Sports Hub Shield after they became the first holders when they beat Papakura last month.

The game will be livestreamed and it features a significant number of Counties Energy Heat stars in what looms as something of a NPC trial.

New Heat coach Saua Leaupepetele will be on hand to watch in what promises to be a fascinating contest.

Papakura meanwhile, heads north to take on Silverdale.

In the Women’s 10s action, Weymouth heads to Fearon Park where they will play Puketapapa Roskill while Patumahoe is at Orakei Domain, where they meet Grammar TEC.
