Old rivals Pukekohe and Patumahoe meet in an epic McNamara Cup round robin clash this week that many are tipping as a preview to the 2023 final.

While Karaka, fresh off beating Pukekohe last week, and a suddenly in-form Manurewa will have a say about that, the two neighbours have been the stand-out sides of the competition so far.

Pukekohe’s only loss came last week while Patumahoe’s only defeat came at the hands of Pukekohe in the first round fixture between the two sides.

A home semi-final beckons for the winning side.

Manurewa host Bombay in a crucial clash that could well determine the final semi-final berth. Anything other than a Bombay victory will see the defending champions book their spot in the knock-out stages.

Patumahoe will hope to continue their perfect season to this point when they host Pukekohe while Papakura and Ardmore Marist will play off in a battle between sixth and seventh.

A top-of-the-table clash between Weymouth and Drury features as the key match in the Sid Marshall Shield round of fixtures.

Te Kauwhata hosts defending champions Puni in a game that has significant impact on the semi-final positions while Te Kohanga needs to beat Patumahoe to stay in the playoff battle.

Maramarua heads to Tuakau while Manurewa hosts Onewhero.
