The Counties Manukau U18 Girls side enjoyed a huge 89-0 win over Thames Valley U19s at Waihi Rugby Club on Saturday.

The game served as the curtain-raiser to the Heartland Championship contest between Thames Valley and Ngati Porou East Coast.

Ellena Toetupe was the player of the day for the visitors, after scoring a hat-trick.

This was the only representative fixture the Union was involved in over the weekend, outside of the PIC Steelers match against Otago.
