Waiuku College secured a confidence-boosting 31-0 win over Rosehill College in the Counties Manukau Rugby Secondary Schools 1^st XV competition on Saturday.

Playing away from home and finding the contest a challenge early, Waiuku improved as the game went on to earn a comfortable win in the end.

Wesley College thrashed Alfriston College 62-5 on Friday while defending champions Tuakau/Onewhero hammered Papakura High School 51-5.

Hauraki Plains edged Pukekohe High School 27-22 in a close affair at Ngatea.

Rosehill College grabbed a 54-5 win over Waiuku College in the Girls 10s competition while Pukekohe High School picked up a 25-15 win away to Papakura High.

Tuakau/Onewhero beat Alfriston College 20-5.

Tuakau/Onewhero and Alfirston College played out a 17-17 draw in Boys U15 Open action.

Pukekohe High School thrashed Rosehill College 45-0.

In Boys U14 Open, Waiuku College pipped Pukekohe High School 15-14 while Tuakau/Onewhero secured a 34-12 win over Rosehill College.

Pukekohe High School 1^st XV came out on top of Matamata 15-12 in a close battle in the Waikato 1^st XV Competition, while Wesley College 1^st XV went down to St Pauls 16-12 in the Central North Island 1st XV Competition.

Southern Cross defaulted to Wesley College while Auckland Girls Grammar defeated Manurewa High School 38-0 in the Auckland Girls 1^st XV competition.
