All Blacks Sevens to kick-start Oceania Super Sevens

The All Blacks Sevens will kick off the Oceania Super Sevens against Tonga on Friday when the tournament begins at Navigation Homes Stadium in Pukekohe.

Sure to be the big drawcard, the tournament favourites will begin their final preparations for the Commonwealth Games with a test against a side sure to have plenty of local support over the Matariki Weekend holiday.

The match begins at 11am and will see four matches played back-to-back before an afternoon break.

The Australian Selection takes on Fiji in the tournament’s second game before we see the first women’s teams in action from 11.48am with the Black Ferns Pango side taking on the Australian Selection.

The Black Ferns Ma team will play Fijiana in the final match of the first round at 12.12pm.

A second full round of matches gets underway at 5pm with all teams playing a second game.

With South Auckland being the biggest Pasifika city in the world, there will be plenty of support for the visiting nations while a fanbase starved of seeing their national sevens teams play live will be excited to cheer their teams on.
