Canterbury back on board with Counties Manukau Rugby

Canterbury is delighted to announce it has signed on as a major partner of the Counties Manukau Rugby Football Union. The partnership incorporates providing on and off field apparel for the PIC Steelers, in the Bunnings National Provincial Championship, the Counties Power Heat in the Farah Palmer Cup and all development and pathway teams of the Union

“We are thrilled to have Canterbury come on board,” said Counties Manukau CEO, Aaron Lawton. “Canterbury gear is tough, strong, high performance player kit, with the latest in deeply-researched, world-class technology, so we can bring the best on the field. It’s great to have the support of such a famous sporting brand.”

“The Bunnings NPC and Farah Palmer Cup competitions are amongst most dynamic and exciting rugby competitions in the world, a breeding ground for All Blacks and Black Ferns players,” said Canterbury’s managing director, Jamie Meikleham

“This deal shows Canterbury’s ongoing core purpose as a passionate supporter of the game at all levels,” he said. “It also speaks to Canterbury’s proud history with New Zealand rugby. We’re delighted to join forces with Counties Manukau and look forward to success on the field.”

The official Steelers and Heat ranges for the 2021 season will be released later in the year and will be available at venue, online and in participating retailers.
