Counties Manukau Heat side named to play Wellington in Farah Palmer Cup semi-final

DateFri, 23 Sep 2016

Heat coaches Davida White and Josh Levi have named their side to take on the Wellington Pride in tomorrow’s Farah Palmer Cup semi-final at ECOLight Stadium in Pukekohe, kick off 12pm.

The Heat side has been bolstered by the return of speedy wingers Portia Woodman and Renee Wickliffe. Both players missed last weekend’s historical win over Auckland at Massey Park, but they take their place in the starting-15 tomorrow. Badinlee Munro-Smith and Shontelle Woodman switch in the centres.

Prop Hinewai Pomare is bracketed on the bench with Lauryn Steed, while Timara Leaf replaces Cynthia Ta’ala on the pine.

Tomorrow’s home semi-final will be a massive occasion for the Counties Manukau Heat, so get along to ECOLight Stadium and cheer our girls on as they battle it out for a place in the Farah Palmer Cup Final. Entry is Free.
