Counties Manukau Heat side named to take on Auckland Storm in Farah Palmer Cup FINAL

DateFri, 30 Sep 2016

Heat coaches Davida White and Josh Levi have named their side to take on the Auckland Storm in Sunday’s Farah Palmer Cup final at ECOLight Stadium, Pukekohe. Kick off at 2:30pm.

The Heat have gone with an unchanged starting-15, with just Aroha Savage and Krystal Murray switching positions between blindside flanker and No.8. On the bench, Cynthia Ta’ala comes into the side for Yuki Ono.

Auckland are eight-time defending champions, however the Counties Manukau Heat handed the Storm their first defeat since 2013 a few weeks back at Massey Park. The Farah Palmer Cup final will be played live on Sky Sport 3. Entry to ECOLight Stadium is free for the match and there will be a curtain raiser between Under 18 Girls Counties Manukau vs Auckland West at 12:05pm. Get along to the stadium and support all the girls who have done the CMRFU very proud.
