Roigard to start off the All Blacks XV bench

Counties Manukau PIC Steelers halfback Cameron Roigard has been named on the bench for this weekend’s All Blacks XV game against Ireland A in Dublin.

The 21-year-old, who was named the PIC Steelers Player of the Year in 2022, will come off the bench to replace veteran halfback and Hurricanes teammate TJ Perenara at RDS Arena on Saturday morning NZT.

It caps a remarkable season for the Onewhero club representative.

“We are so proud of Cam,” said PIC Steelers coach Reon Graham. “He had a tremendous season for us, and this selection is deserved reward.

“All of us here at Counties Manukau Rugby wish him the best and can’t wait to see him in the black jersey.”

The game kicks off at 8.45am NZT on Saturday morning.
